Petri Hawkins Byrd became a television icon, as the fan favorite Bailiff on "Judge Judy", which held the position of #1 show in first-run syndication for 10 consecutive seasons. Byrd's contributions to the program have been praised as an integral part of the Emmy Award winning and groundbreaking Court Room Drama's success, that aired for an unprecedented 24 years!

 

Byrd has also appeared numerous times on stage as a

stand-up comedian and actor. Most recently he can be seen in his guest starring role as Reverend Jerry on the Emmy winning hit series, "The Bold and the Beautiful" and as Judge Byrd on "The Proud Family: Louder & Prouder," as well as Judge Hawkins on "Amy's F**k It List," among other guest spots. A partial list of TV credits includes guest appearances on such popular series as "Nash Bridges," "Everybody Hates Chris," and "Curb Your Enthusiasm."

 

Byrd's success has also made him a sought-after motivational speaker. In his spare time, he sings, writes music and poetry.
